Functional medicine examines every factor involved including symptoms, genetics, environment, lifestyle, mental, emotional and spiritual influences. Functional medicine includes evolving research in nutritional science, genomics and epigenetics.

Dr. Shannon Evans, DO, IFMCP is board certified in Family Medicine and Functional Medicine. While practicing family medicine and struggling with personal health issues of her own, Dr. Shannon discovered functional medicine. Her own health was restored with a functional
medicine approach. She is passionate about partnering with individuals to reach their
optimal health and find the root causes of their illness or disease.
